HDTV [02 Jun 2006|10:31am] Jamila and I just purchased a 60 inch rear projection HDTV. It displays full pixels at 1080p native (it doesn't have 1080p input, but it converts 1080i to 1080p). The TV costs $4,400 at Fry's, but Sony Style has it online for $3,999. My dad got us his Sony discount so it was only $3,100. Pretty good deal. Now I need to get an HD DirecTV Tivo so I can actually receive HD. I'd also like to get a nice surround sound setup, but I'm not gonna push my luck with Jamila after she agreed to the TV. Bought it on my credit card so I'd better get it paid off before I go nuts on extra stuff.
